Theresa Caputo is the endearing, engaging, extroverted and extremely likeable woman who describes herself in the opening of her TLC show as "a typical Long Island mom who talks to the dead."

She lives in Hicksville, New York which is a Long Island suburb with her husband, Larry, 22 year old son and 18 year old daughter, who all appear on the show "Long Island Medium" which is now in its third season on The Learning Channel and has developed a loyal following.

The show was recently renewed and will start season 4 in 2013.

It was only after her decision to stop denying the spirits communication through her that she came to slowly accept being a medium as a huge part of who she is and learn to love what she is able to do by comforting people.

After watching her in action, you'll agree that Theresa looks like the real deal as she pulls things out of nowhere that pertains to the person who she is doing the reading with.
