Product Review
This DVD will take the viewer on a 60 minute Virtual Walk in four different locales in Egypt. Filmed in widescreen using professional television cameras and camera stabilization equipment, the camera seems to float as it transports the viewer through Egypt and to some of the most spectacular sights in the world. This Virtual Walk begins on the Giza Plateau, outside of Cairo, at the Pyramids - the only remaining of the "Seven Wonders of the Ancient World." After a walk around the outside of the Pyramids, the walk next takes you to the Temple of Philae, located on an island in the Nile River. Dedicated to the Egyptian Goddess, Isis, this temple was moved to a new island by international effort to save it from being submerged by a change in water level caused by the construction of the High Dam at Aswan. Next your 60 minute virtual walk takes you on to Edfu and the Temple of Horus. Of all the temples that still exist in Egypt, the Temple of Horus is the most completely preserved. Your walk thoroughly explores this amazing temple. The last section of this virtual walk takes you to the famous bazaar at Khan el Khalili. This virtual walk is accompanied by the natural sounds recored in Egypt in Dolby Stereo. This DVD also includes a Bonus Chapter, "Images of Cairo," accompanied by authentic Arabic music, which depicts a day in the life of Cairo.
