The hydrophobic (water repellent) and protective properties of Tekon® products are preserved with periodic use of Tekon's Repellant Wash® and a Tek (microfiber) towel. Tekon® products are guaranteed not to flake, discolor or cause damage to the treated surface. The use of harsh cleaning solutions, solvents, chemicals or ammonia based products will void this warranty. Tekon® recommends adding Empowered DailyTM to your purchase for daily hygienic cleanups in your kitchen. Just spray and wipe with a microfiber Tek Towel.
