Used as a herbal medicine for centuries Mullein is also a stunning garden plant in its own right. The upright stems shoot up to 6' in the second year producing yellow flowers from June to September. Bee's and butterflies are attracted to the plant. Mullein is an easy to grow hardy biennial. It prefers full sun and lighter soils, and can withstand dry conditions. Grow in zones 3-9.
