ESP pad is the lowest cost, un bonded, medium weight oil only Meltblown pad. This oil only medium weight pad is similar to the medium weight bonded Meltblown but is not sonically welded. Not having the sonic welds make this pad less strong and more linty than its boned equivalent. The pad is made from one layer of Meltblown and is usually more absorbent compared to the same sonic bonded pad. The pad is made from one layer of Meltblown. Great value and reliable performance. Made from high quality polypropylene. A very economical choice for everyday oil only situations. Use for light duty oil only MRO tasks. Because the pad is oil only, use mostly outdoors. Fire retardant as per ASTM 726. Ensure that disposal of these sorbents complies with all local, state and federal regulations.
