A fine and substantial collection of piano trios by Russian composers, these works are full blooded, highly romantic, and express the Slavonic soul in the deeply sonorous vibrations of the cello, the soaring melodic lines of the violin and the brilliant and virtuosic flourishes of the piano. This is an excellent performances by the famous Moscow Trio.
