The SureFlap Pet Door Mounting Adaptor is used to install the SureFlap Microchip Pet Door in windows or other glass panels. To install the pet door in glass, a circular hole must be cut. The Pet Door Mounting Adaptor covers the gaps left by such a hole. The mounting adaptor covers holes ranging from 11.5" to 12.6" in diameter. The ideal hole diameter is 11.8". Please note that you cannot cut a hole directly into double glazing; you will need to replace the panel with the hole pre-cut and sealed by a qualified glazier. Your glazier should use a non-metallic spacer to seal the hole to ensure that it does not interfere with the operation of the pet door. The SureFlap Pet Door Mounting Adaptor can also be used to covers gaps left by previous pet doors. The mounting adaptor is supplied in packs of two for the inside and outside of the installation.
