The Ghost Chili Pepper is confirmed to be one of the hottest peppers on earth, with a scorching 1,001,304 Scoville Heat rating, over three to four times hotter than a habanero! One of the hottest chili peppers in the world, the Ghost Pepper is known by many other names, such as: Bhut Jolokia, Ghost Chili, Ghost Pepper, and Naga Morich. The Ghost Pepper is fruity in smell and taste and is a great addition to soup, stew, chili, and salsa just remember to use sparingly, as you can always add more if needed. You can also use it in your garden to get rid of troublesome insects and animals. Dare to experience its smoky, searing heat but keep in mind, eating too much of this pepper has sent people to the hospital. YIKES & BEWARE! Ghost Peppers can be used whole, ground, and pureed, in hot sauces, salsa, BBQ Sauce, seasonings, and dip mixes. Ghost pepper fruit and seeds are extremely hot and should be handled with the utmost care. Use gloves when handling peppers or seeds to avoid contact with skin, and do so in a well-ventilated area. Also, it's good to use dedicated or disposable utensils because of the pepper's potent oils. After handling, wash your hands thoroughly, and do not touch your skin for a while as oils can linger even after cleaning. Always keep peppers away from pets and children. Place plants either in the ground or in large containers in a full sun location. If placing in a pot, use a cage for plant support. Pepper plants prefer a normal moist soil. Mulching between plants is encouraged to retain moisture and prohibit weed growth. Ghost peppers can be difficult to grow as the humidity and heat they receive directly affect the heat of the pepper itself. To grow ghost peppers outdoors, your growing season must last longer than 3 months. The temperature must stay above 70 degrees, as well. Fruits are 2.5 -3 inches long and harvest will be 85-90 days (from seeding). HOTTEST PEPPER ON EARTH says the Guinness Book of World Records. WE SHIP ONLY PREMIUM PLANTS!
