This study on the third Gospel emphasizes the historical accuracy of the eyewitness accounts Luke used in compiling his work. The doctrinal and textual differences between the “synoptic” Gospels are examined and explained. The material unique to the Gospel, especially the parables, is exegeted not only from the standpoint of sound doctrine, but with evangelistic application in mind as well.
