Based on the true life of Sawney Bean and his family of cannibalistic serial killers, whose existence is legendary. A journalist, intrigued by this legend, starts writing damaging articles about the family and blaming the authorities for their incompetence. He gets more than he bargained for when his girlfriend suddenly goes missing. As the clues lead him to the family's lair, he comes face to face with Sawney and his cannibalistic family.
