It smells just like fresh ground herring because it's made from fresh ground herring. It works great on Bait Buster lures, hoochies, as a marinade on baits for salmon and halibut too. To inject into baits we recommend a 50/50 combination of PRO-CURE Herring Oil and PRO-CURE Herring Bait Sauce. Note: we've had tremendous success on ocean salmon by adding a healthy shot of PRO-CURE Garlic Plus Oil to the above 50/50 mixture and injecting into our plug cut baits.
