OK Lighting 14. 25" Gold Touch Lamp With White Glass Floral Theme. The lamp is gold plated with glass shades. The lamps is unassembled. Assembly involves inserting the glass in the shade and then putting the shade on the base. The lamp changes intensity in light by the change in capacitance. When a hand touches it, it changes in capacitance and therefore changes the lamp to go into the next light setting. This also occurs when there is a surge or an unstable electrical current. Therefore, the light turning on/off on its own is related to the customer’s electricity and not due to the touch sensor functionality.
