The TeleVue 5mm Nagler Type 6 is popular for use with refractors and smaller Dobsonian telescopes up to ten inches in aperture. It produces what is often the highest practical magnification in 1200mm class Dobsonian telescopes, but atmospheric conditions may not allow this every night.
