SurTrack specializes in the manufacturing of new CV axles for all passenger cars and light-duty trucks on the road today. For proper installation, there is a stub (intermediate) shaft that must be transferred from the old unit to the new unit. At installation, GM procedure calls for the replacement of the circlips in the stub shaft. Failure to do this can cause the unit to become disengaged during operation and fail.
