Based on a novel. Synopsis: A psychological horror film depicting the darkness lurking within everyday life, based on the eponymous novel by Naoki Prizenominated author Kishi Yusuke and brought to the screen by domestically and internationally popular director Miike Takashi (Hara-Kiri: Death of a Samurai ) with his own distinctive brand of violence. English teacher Hasumi (Ito Hideaki) is highly popular with his students, colleagues, and the PTA. However, he is actually a psychopath who murders those who get in his way, one after another. On the day before the school festival, some of Hasumi's students begin to suspect that something is not quite right about him, and that night, the school becomes the site of a bloody massacre.
