"JON RISTER is a practicing instructor in Texas teaching martial arts since 1987. He has been involved in Wing Chun since he fi rst met his sifu, Master Francis Fong, in 1986. In addition to Wing Chun, he has studied and achieved instructor rank in Kali-Eskrima under Magulang Na Guro Dan Inosanto, and Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do under Sifu Dan Inosanto and Larry B. Hartsell. Among Sifu Jon Rister’s proudest achievements, more so than his own accomplishments, is for him to have seen three generations of his own students achieve instructor rank. ALFRED C.
