Product Review
HIBISCUS: Popular for nearly 200 years and with good reason. Its size and growth habit allow it to be planted near a home or in a border, and its flowers are spectacular! Very useful for late summer to early fall bloom. Slow to begin growing in the spring, but makes up for lost time fast.
Ruffled Satin® Hibiscus in an exciting Rose of Sharon that displays masses of blooms from mid to late summer. The large, tropical looking blooms form a complete circle for a fuller looking flower. Each bloom has a striking red eye that bleeds into a light pink petal that intensifies to dark pink as it nears the heavily ruffled edges. There is a short amount of space between each flower node making for a shrub that will give you loads of color. Ruffled Satin® is an aggressive grower that can reach 8-12 feet, but can easily be pruned to maintain a smaller size if desired. Rose of Sharon does well in full sun, blooming in mid to late summer. Ruffled Satin® is a deer resistant variety and attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. Another great introduction from Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Flowering Shrubs. Ruffled Satin® Hibiscus syriacus 'SHIMCR1' PPAF. Immediate shipping in 4" pot.
