Italian harpist Floraleda Sacchi studied Hasselmans and his works, and with this new recording presents an important tribute to a near forgotten minor master of the French Art Nouveau. Assembling a large selection of compositions - some never recorded - Sacchi reveals the virtuoso's predilection for German Romanticism and in particular the influences of Mendelssohn, Schubert, Schumann and Chopin.
