The lightest of all three premium roasts of our Haitian Blue. It is grown at a high altitude of Haiti's tropical mountain region. It is the same varietal as Jamaican Blue Mountain and Cafe Kreyol is utilizing it to create sustainable jobs in Haiti. This roast imparts notes of almonds and butter and has a smooth finish typical of island profile coffees. Watch out, it goes down smooth but contains the most caffeine of all three roasts!
Like the Jamaican Blue coffee, our Haitian Blue is grown in island soil with very low acidity. This produces a very smooth and delicious coffee with taste profiles similar to Kona and Jamaican Blue.
