It's the early 1980s: MTV and stone-washed jeans; movies like Blade runner, Diner and Gandhi ruled. Mike Graham, inspired by a love of surfing and climbing, launched Gramicci from his garage in Southern California. He designed the now-famous gusseted crotch and cinch/release belted G -Pant and G-Short that have become legend in the outdoor community. With grassroots efforts and word of mouth, the now cult-like following for Gramicci clothing began to grow. By the late 1990s, Gramicci was coveted for its unique fabrications, worn and weathered finishes, freedom of movement comfort, quality and multiple functionality.
