The Stair Banister Adapter Kit allows you to mount your Retract-A-Gate on a banister or wrought iron railing without drilling holes into it.
Each kit comes with (1) heavy-duty adapter, (4) 32” mounting straps, and all the necessary screws and washers. The brackets included with each Retract-A-Gate mount directly to the adapter.
The adapter is weather resistant and can be used indoors and outdoors, just like Retract-A-Gate.
One adapter is required per post or spindle. If you are mounting Retract-A-Gate between two banister posts, you would need two adapter kits.
If needed, the adapter can be shortened with a handsaw. The adapter should not be cut shorter than 32”.
