The 4 Gallon Professional Backpack Sprayer is capable of producing up to 60 psi, with a high-performance connecting rod-actuated diaphragm pump system. The diaphragm is made of top quality material for its resistance to harsh chemicals, including bleach and for its long life expectancy. For spraying large jobs or small it is capable of performing virtually every spray ring task and will easily and effectively handle disinfectants, fungicides, herbicides, insecticides and fertilizers. The 475-B is designed with the ability to pass small abrasive particles without damage to the pump system and may be used with water from wells, lakes or rivers, which may contain sediment. The diaphragm backpack is ideal for handling chemicals in wettable powder form, liquid formulations and bleach solutions.

Note:It takes initially at least 20 – 22 pumps of the handle to fully pressurize the sprayer.  Once pressurized, the user can spray for approximately 1 minute before the pressure starts to drop.  Pumping the handle 4 – 5 times will bring the sprayer back to full pressure.  As the pump handle attaches to threaded pump shaft with two cap screws, there is no need for locking nuts to secure the pump handle.
