Product Review
The treetop canopy of the South American rainforest comes alive with the bright pink and violet flowers of the Pau dArco tree. This tree thrives along the slopes of the Andes Mountains, covering the western border of Peru. The trees can grow more than 125 feet high, and are greatly valued throughout South America. Young trees are used in ornamental landscaping, and their wood is highly durable and often used in local construction. The inner bark has also been used to create an herbal tea called lapacho (or taheebo) for more than 1000 years. This tea was even consumed by the Incas, and is considered an important South American tradition today.
