This Professional Audio Series XLR cable is designed for use as a balanced mono audio cable for connecting microphones, mixers, and other audio products with XLR connections. The cable features 16AWG copper conductors and a copper braid shield, which provides 97.5% coverage to prevent electromagnetic and/or radio frequency interference from affecting the audio signal. The contacts are all gold plated to ensure smooth, corrosion free connections. Although designed primarily as a balanced mono cable, this XLR cable can also be used as an unbalanced stereo cable with the appropriate equipment.
