Deep Lies is the second book in the very successful Jacob Rohn series by author R. A. Quinn. The main character, Jacob 'Jake' Rohn, is a criminal investigator for the State of Alaska. Rohn's life has taken many turns but he's found both his place in Alaska and the love of his life, Whitney Cartwright. Follow along as Rohn travels to spectacular Bristol Bay and gets caught up in a murder investigation that his own life literally depends on him solving. R. A. Quinn sets the stage for this thriller in Dillingham, Alaska; a small fishing and tourist community in the southwest part of the state. Quinn spins a tale that is a definite page turner and keeps the reader involved and guessing as to what will happen next. Quinn's knowledge of law enforcement in Alaska, the location the story takes place and the ways of the residents there is outstanding and lends to the creation of a very interesting and believable story. Quinn is a retired Alaska State Trooper and spent nearly four years working and living in the Dillingham area and uses his knowledge and experience to bring the wonders of Alaska to the reader, wherever they may be from; be it Alaska or anywhere in the world. Join Jacob Rohn in this well written crime thriller that will leave you both satisfied and craving for more of Jacob Rohn.
