When Ashley Lawrence is fired from her job as a features reporter for her local television station after an on-air blunder, and is subsequently dumped by her boyfriend, she’s eager for a change. It happens her out of town roommate, who coincidentally shares the same first name and surname with her, inadvertently provides the means.

Her roommate had signed up for a dating site, ‘Farmers Seeking Helpmates and Helping Hands,’ and an interested farmer had sent her a bus ticket so the two could meet. Desperate, Ashley takes the ticket and heads to the Heartland.

Will she lose her heart to a handsome farmer, or will circumstances tear them apart?
