Dorman's Schrader Valve installs in the service port of the Air Conditioning system and is often lost during servicing. This valve allows refrigerant to enter the Air Conditioning system from the Air Conditioning servicing equipment. Once servicing is complete, Dorman's Schrader Valve will close tight to keep the refrigerant in the Air Conditioning system where it belongs so cool air will continue flowing through cabin of the vehicle.
