The Emerson 00275-0096-0001 250Ω ruggedized load resistor is used with the Emerson 375 and 475 series Field Communicator. The load resistor boosts resistance in a communication loop to a HART (highway addressable remote transducer) communication protocol enabled device, enabling the field communicator to communicate with devices that have less than 250Ω of resistance present in the HART loop. Rugged construction makes the load resistor suitable for field work.
