In 17 short chapters, Christian minister and researcher James Snapp, Jr. answers some of the challenges to Christianity which were expressed in a recent book by Dr. Reza Aslan. In addition to addressing questions about the historicity of the Gospels' accounts about Jesus' birth, teachings, and trials, Snapp explores the subjects of the origins of the Gospels and the nature of Jesus' mission as the Messiah, and contends that the basis for Dr. Aslan's theory that Jesus was plotting a military revolt against the Romans is extremely tenuous and, in some respects, demonstrably incorrect.
