The Nasco TB24570T Algebraic X, Y, and Z Bossé Tiles manipulatives provide students in grades 6 and up a hands-on activity to understand concepts in algebra. This set includes a total of 340 red and blue tile, bar, and flat pieces; a teacher's guide; and a storage container. The tiles are used to represent the different elements of an algebraic equation. Students use the tiles to do activities and solve math problems, giving them a visual aid to better understand concepts. The pieces in this set are 1/8 inch thick translucent plastic for use on an overhead projector.
