Product Review
This is a pitcher plant called Nepenthes Alata. It is a stunning, beautiful tropical pitcher plant noted for it's hairy pitchers. They are also commonly called Monkey Cups because in the rainforest monkeys have been observed drinking the rain water out of them. These plants give off a nectar that attracts bugs to become its meal and their favorite meal is spiders. They are a faster growing plant and make a nice home in a hanging basket. They turn a dark red when given bright light. They like to be kept moist but not wet with distilled water and a bright location. Tolerant to a short drought once well established. You will receive one Nepenthes, similar to the one in the photo. Most of the cups are just emerging. A detailed care sheet will be included. It will be shipped in a 2" potted in sphagnum moss.
