The original bracket tends to break on the rear left side and can cause the seat to rock and not adjust properly. Until now the only solution was complete replacement at the dealer or from a salvage yard. Now you can replace just the failed part instead of the complete assembly which is very expensive. This part has an upgraded design and solves the problem of the bracket breaking. This can be a do-it-yourself job but it does require removing the seat and seat components and re-assembling all with this new bracket. Typical labor time is 2 hours.
