Red Mulberry Tree - Morus Rubra - Live Plant - Not Dwarf The Red Mulberry is a fruit-bearing tree that is not only lovely, but useful to both humans and wildlife. The fruit is a compound cluster of several small Drupes 2-3 cm long, when it is ripening it is red or dark purple, edible and very sweet with a good flavor. Mulberries can be eaten raw directly from your tree, or save some for pies, preserves and wine.
