60-65 Days. Whether you eat okra or not, this plant is worth growing! Deep crimson red pods and tall stems are adorned with gorgeous yellow flowers accented by a red center that the bees love. Very productive plants produce tender, 6-inch long pods that are delicious in soup, gumbo and stew, or deep-fried. Pods keep their delicious flavor when cooked but not their red color.
