A big block quilt is made with fewer, but larger blocks to make your quilt fast and let more of the fabric shine through. This pattern uses 4 - 40 inch square Providence blocks. The Providence block uses squares, half square triangles and quarter square triangles for which detailed instructions are included as well as instructions to finish your quilt all the way through to the binding.
