It does not absorb moisture, rather its superior wicking abilities move any moisture away from feet. These standard weight socks will not create bulk making shoes tight. Soft, warm and durable, our socks are made with Super Fine Alpaca & Lycra as well as a bit of Nylon Spandex (to maintain shape and fit). This creates the most comfortable and longest lasting alpaca socks resulting in happier feet.
