Recently widowed young rancher Jim Newton captures a wild black stallion, which he names FURY. One day he has to go to town, where he meets an 11-year-old orphan boy Joey, who is wrongly accused of braking a window. The rancher clears the boy, brings him back to the ranch and adopts him. To his surprise, the newly arrived city boy turns out to be the only person who can win the affection of the wild black stallion. But Jim understands that Joey needs responsibility.
