The Savage Gear Glide Swimmer is a two-piece jointed swimbait possessing the glide style action that has become incredibly popular in recent years. The Glide Swimmer was engineered to display a very subtle, methodical swimming action that "glides" side to side through the water offering big fish an easy meal. Glide baits have taken the swimbait market by storm, proving incredibly effective for a number of predatory species including bass, mackinaw trout and musky among others. It's difficult to determine just what it is about these baits, but the generally accepted belief is that it's simply an easy meal for big fish. Perhaps the subtly of the lure is also partly responsible - but whatever the reason, it sure seems to put fish in the boat.
