The downhill specific DH Knee has VPD protection covered by a hard shell knee cap to reduce friction against the ground in case of a fall. The protection offers great freedom of movement and will protect your knees from impacts often associated with pedals, rocks and other objects found on varied terrain. VPD adapts to the shape of your body, but when exposed to impact, the material stiffens and has extreme impact absorption properties.
