BURGUNDY ICEBERG ROSE follows in the same wonderful, hardy tradition of the original Iceberg rose. This prolific blooming own-root rose covered in deep purple colored flowers with lighter reverse and dark burgundy red stamens and anthers. A delightful compact and neat 3' growth habit adds to the attraction and versatility of this rose. Healthy, medium green foliage adorns this re-blooming, mildly fragrant rose. Useful in gardens or as a flowering hedge along walkways and paths. Own-root. As is the case with other dark purple roses like Midnight Blue and Ebb Tide, the blooms on young Burgundy Iceberg plants can have a reddish or pinkish color. As the plant matures and settles into your garden the future blooms will darken.
