The Starter Generator Belt is a factory replacement part for 1980-1994 E-Z-GO 2-Cycle Gas Marathon Vehicles and 2008-Current E-Z-GO Vehicles with a Kawasaki Engine. The starter generator belt is responsible for the engine stopping during times the vehicle is stationary, typically during brief stops at traffic lights, or slowing down. The starter generator belt then instantaneously restarts the engine for accelerative purposes. Replaced Item# 606138.
