The unit is vibration proof.
It is not affected by engine vibration, so you can operate the light when cruising (and this is encouraged for a great "Wow Presentation!" They put out a beautiful display that is great for:

We have used our high output LEDs to design and build a rock-solid drain plug light that installs in seconds with no cutting, drilling, or splicing. The unit doesn't consume a lot of power but puts out a ton of light! Fits almost all ½" brass (Garboard type or similar) drains.
