It was the time of the encroaching ICE AGE in Europe. The resident Neanderthals (The Chosen) and the incoming Cro-Magnons (The Second People) were interacting. When the two cultures melded and co-existed it resulted in the formation of a new group (The People) who prospered amid the trials and tribulations of that period.
