When we gave Christ our lives, we devoted our time to Him as well. 24/7 of our lives belongs to God and He should be given such. We as servants of Christ are always on call. Like a worker who is on call for his or her job so we as Christians are always on call to do the works of the Lord. Knowing this, we should continue in the Spirit every day, throughout the day, and give God as much time as He wants to be alone with us.

God calls us to constant prayer, but the needful tasks of the day tend to draw our attention away from Him. Consider taking these next 30 days to devote yourself to becoming a house of prayer for the Lord. We should be committed to increasing our faith and nearness to Him through daily devotion and continuous prayer.
