Product Review
"It's the 'Citizen Kane' of nudist films" ... Manchester Guardian. That's not necessarily high praise, but in this instance they are absolutely right. Made in Great Britain and featuring 'real' actors and actual sets, this fairly commonplace plotline is molded into what is undoubtedly the best nudist film of the era. And what's more, this in the uncut 'UK' version, (including its original title) whichis longer and more complete than the cutdown US release.
Our story starts out simply enough. Jane Robinson is a business executive who inherits the 'Avonmore Sun Club' as part of the assets of a deceased relative. She decides to sell it off to pay the taxes on the estate, but some of the members ask her to view the club first. Jane sees how wonderful it all is and takes a liking to one of the members, but 'Danger Jane Robinson!', you've got competition for that guy and she has sharp claws.
The production values are topnotch and the actors can actually read lines! More to the point, there's a lot of swimming, nude picnicking, wholesome sports and even a nude catfight in a shower. Plus ... a musical number (clothed).
