BikeHard Heavy Duty Training Wheels are adaptable to work with a wide variety of bicycles, ranging from small 20" children's bikes all the way up to 26" wheeled adult bikes. The strength of the training wheel set is as a result of the design and materials used: thick rubber tires, steel wheels rolling on steel bearings, and extra rugged fully adjustable steel stabilizers. So long as the rear wheel has a solid 26T axle (threaded as opposed to a quick release), these training wheels can install and will not interfere with the movement of 6 or 7 speed rear derailleur's. With a substitution of the appropriate standoffs designed for 24T (sold separately SKU 0177803), bicycles with coaster brakes (single speed) can also be mounted with this training wheel. Once installed, even a rider up to 220 lbs can be held upright as they pedal along without fear of falling or feeling unbalanced.
