This aptly named book addresses the many ways that jewelers attach one part to another, with chapters on Cold Connections, Hot Connections, and Adhesives. In his characteristic no-nonsense style, McCreight provides useful information through drawings and text, explaining techniques in language that does not require knowledge of the field. This is primarily a technical manual, not a catalog of finished work. The black and white text and drawings provide simplicity and economy.
