Ascorbyl Palmitate is the product resulting from the combination of ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) with palmitic acid. Alone, Vitmain C would normally not be fat soluble, but this mixture known as ascorbyl palmitate is fat soluble, meaning that the concentration of vitamin C taken in with this supplement can be stored in the body for later consumption. Like Vitamin C on its own, ascorbyl palmitate is known to work well when combined with Vitamin E by allowing regeneration of this antioxidant to occur more rapidly.
