Kent UK's quest to anthologize the classic Southern soul of Northern Alabama continues with the release of a third volume in our Hall Of Fame Series. In addition to George Jackson, Phillip Mitchell, Clarence Carter and Otis Clay, we also feature another selection of unknowns - invariably as 'great' as they are 'unknown', backed by some of the finest musicians of Southern soul's golden era. Of the 24 tracks featured, only four have been released before. Series compiler Tony Rounce believes it's the best volume to date. There's still plenty more to come from Fame's vaults in 2014.
