This cable is an OTG (On The Go) extension cable intended to work with peripheral devices (i.e., mouse, keyboard, card reader, etc.). It is not intended to work as a charging cable or syncing cable. For example, it does charge a Samsung Galaxy S3 but it will NOT charge a Samsung Galaxy S4.

Please note:This cable is not designed to work with a docking station. If you use a multimedia dock that uses an MHL connection this extension will NOT work.
